In the 1980’s John started one of the first Christian Legal Aid ministries. In the 1990’s he joined with other national leaders from Chuck Colson to Jim Wallis to advocate for
justice for the poor.
The organization serves the spiritual and legal needs of the poor.

I dont think this book and study guide is part of the Catholic social justice movement or liberation theology. Many of the church locations of this organization are in Biblically sound churches. However, some locations are in churches with some false doctrines or false beliefs.
